Demo 1: Population Studies in the Contemporary World will be offered by the UP Population Institute (UPPI)

Starting 2nd sem AY 2020-2021, undergraduate students can enroll in a Demography course with the approval of DEMO 1: Population Studies in the Contemporary World by the UP President on September 1, 2020.

DEMO 1 is UPPI’s first General Education (GE) course which aims to introduce the undergraduate student to demography and population related concepts and issues such as changing patterns of deaths and illness, sexual risk behaviors of the youth, trends and patterns in migration, urbanization, and the effect of COVID-19 on the population.
