The Social Sciences and Philosophy Research Foundation Inc. (SSPRF) is a non-stock, non-profit, non-sectarian, educational and scientific research foundation composed of faculty members, researchers and retired professors of the College of Social Sciences and Philosophy (CSSP), University of the Philippines as well as alumni of the units from which CSSP originated - the College of Liberal Arts and College of Arts and Sciences.
The Foundation is dedicated to supporting basic and applied social science research and the scholarly works of the CSSP faculty and staff. It also undertakes resource generation activities in support of CSSP initiatives and projects that aim to maintain standards of academic excellence in the College. In addition, SSPRF undertakes, jointly with the College of Social Sciences and Philosophy and other professional organizations, extramural activities to raise the level of social science teaching and research in the Philippines.
