CSSP Basketball Team Celebrates First Victory

Members of the CSSP Basketball Team 2017 headed by Arnel A. Manuel of the History Department shared a victory merienda yesterday, 8th November 2017, for their first win of the season.

The basketball tournament, sponsored by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Community Affairs (OVCCA), Security Service Brigade (SSB), and U.P. Diliman Police Station and Fire Department, feature thirty-two (32) teams from different colleges and organizations in UP Diliman battling it out for the championship spot.The CSSP Basketball Team bested the Pantranco (Drivers and Operators) Team with a 62 to 48 win at the first round of games held last Saturday, 4th November 2017. The victory merienda was provided by the Office of the Dean to show solidary and support to the team.
