James M. Scott is a Pulitzer Prize finalist and the author of several critically acclaimed books of military history. One of his works, Rampage: MacArthur, Yamashita and the Battle of Manila, is able to deliver the horrors of the past into light. Despite the series of grisly events told in the book, these untold stories must be known with the hope that this kind of tragedy may never happen again.
