This year, the UP College of Social Sciences and Philosophy (CSSP) presents its lantern, “Kaisipang Pinalaya, Karunungang Pinasibol,” to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Rafael Palma. The lantern features a book with Palma on its cover, while the four pages displayed on its sides symbolize the four decades of the College.

CSSP’s lantern was designed by Cleo Tantoco, a PhD candidate from the UP Department of History.
